Midi attire

Another style that has a comeback from 70’s is midi length. Not many of us would embrace the trend, as it’s often considered for middle aged or more suitable for librarians and teachers.
I might say to rock midis are more difficult than minis. Minis make us look younger and taller, while midis require more thoughtful styling unless you are tall and slim as the models on the runway. For young midi style incorporate prints, graphics, color block or lace in your outfit, or choose unusual shape like Fendi or sheer like Cerruti.

If you have not so thin calves, wear hemmed it at the narrower point of your calf above or below the knee cap, avoid any lengths that appears to end at the widest part of your calf. Otherwise legs will look even bigger than they are.
If you are curvy prefer fitted skirt/dress over flared.
If you are petite, since the length cuts us (proportion wise) on half we need to elongate the body by:
-       Tuck the blouse under skirt
-       Have high waist line
-       Have short or sheer blouses, bustier or  short jackets/cardigans over
-       Accessorize with thin belt

-       Use color block wisely since it’s about playing with proportions
-       Choose garment with uneven hem, opening in the front or slits
-       Get sheer skirts/dresses for modern look
-       Wear with open sandals/wedges/platforms or nude/metallic pumps without ankle straps or nude straps, kitten heels, long boots or shoes/boots with tights of the same color
                          Happy midi-day!
